Ever find your press-on nails popping off? Fix this one thing, and you can even dig into a potato without losing a nail!
it's all about eliminating the gap between your press-on nails and your natural nails.
As someone who's been a fan of press-on nails for 5 years, let me share why it's crucial.
Here's how I use a stick pad.
Whether you're using regular glue, a stick pad, or solid glue, closing the gap between the nail piece and your natural nail is key to ensuring your press-on nails stay put for a long time.
If your nails are short and slightly curved upwards, you'll notice a gap at the bottom half of your nail. You can fix this by applying half a stick pad there first, then cover the entire nail with a full stick pad.
If your nail curves downwards like a hawk's beak, you'll find a gap at the top half. Just like before, start with half a stick pad on the top half and then apply a full one over the entire nail to bridge the gap.
For those with flatter nails, start with a small pad in the middle to create a slight curve, then apply a full stick pad over the whole nail.
Stick pads are just one option, especially if you like switching styles often. For long-term wear and sturdiness, you might try regular glue.
And if you're worried about damaging your nails, solid glue is my go-to. It's simple, secure, easy to remove, and damage-free. Its moldability makes it easier to accommodate various nail shapes and conditions. You can find more on how to use solid glue on my channel and website.
